For Grade 4 and 5, students should daily read for 10 min the paragraph assigned by the teacher. It is generally, the paragraph that had already been read in class by the teacher.

Assalamu Alaikum dear parents,
As you surely know, reading is very important for students . It allow them to build their own vocabulary and their understanding of what they listen to.
I highly recommend to students to read at least for 10 min each day. They can read Arabic book that they can borrow from the Public Library or the Islamic School Library. They can find interesting stories in internet. My self, I will be posting some links to redirect the students to nice stories that they can enjoy and that we can play in class.
Students can also watch some cartoons in Arabic. I will be also putting some links for videos and stories that students can watch.
Here is my first story. I hope students will enjoy it.
